RNP Forum promotes debates on digital heritage, open data and memory technologies

The challenges of preserving documents in computerized systems, using open data and storage technologies will be the theme that will guide the discussions of the seventh edition of the RNP Forum, which will take place on August 28 and 29 in Brasília. Organized annually by the Brazilian advanced network RNP, the event will promote a broad debate on the use of information and communication technologies in teaching, research, health, culture and defense.

The meeting is addressed to rectors, pro-rectors, directors of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) of Universities, Federal and Research Institutes, as well as public managers, project coordinators and suppliers in the area.

The 2018 edition will feature lectures and panels that will allow participants to reflect on how technology is a powerful ally of teaching and research in Brazil. Topics such as the construction of digital heritage, digital diplomas, services and solutions in graduate programs, telemedicine and telehealth, digital files and catalogs, collaborative networks, cloud storage, among others, form the program in the two days of the event.

Registration is open on the event website. Those who can’t participate can watch the sessions at the official website under the "Assistir ao vivo" tab.
