Workshop on Internet Network Technologies for Latin America and the Caribbean discloses details of its 2018 edition

The traditional Workshop on Internet Network Technologies for Latin America and the Caribbean (WALC), organized by the Fundación Escuela Latinoamericana de Redes (EsLaRed), divulged details about its 21st edition. The event, which takes place since 1992, will be held from November 26 to 30, 2018, at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

WALC seeks to contribute to the training needs of technicians and professionals from Latin American and Caribbean countries in the area of ​​ICT. The 2018 edition will offer eight theoretical-practical workshops among which the attendees choose the one that best suits their training expectations. The topics will be Broadband Wireless Networks for Data Transmission, Hands on IPv6: Routing and Services, Network Management and Monitoring, Computer Security, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Community Networks and Big Data.
