Case Study

Deadline has been extended till December 17! Hurry up! Those interested should create a Case Study according to the requirements and eligibility criteria set out in the bases. The study that wins will receive a H.323 videoconferencing equipment, and h those that are selected as finalists will be printed and distributed among NRENs members of  ALICE2, by CLARA, to expand its distribution throughout Latin America..


Three Colombian universities working on a project for the dissemination of biological data on the network using RENATA infrastructure. The initiative seeks to be a support to environmental education, scientific research and biodiversity conservation.

This initiative represents an opportunity for administrators, developers and users in general for training and experience in the use of IPv6. The prizes of the call include a scholarship to attend the next LACNIC event in mid-2011 and the participation in a networking workshop at the next meeting of the Mexican network.

RedCLARA representatives recently attended the third meeting of Vice Chancellors and Directors of Research of the Peruvian Network of Universities, whose theme was “Using Advanced Networks for research." University officials heard about the benefits of ALICE2 and benefits of joining an NREN.
