In the framework of the Webinar Series 2024 of the University Telemedicine Network of Latin America (RUTE-AL), the conference ‘Governance of health data in LAC’ will be held on Wednesday 31 July, at 15h GMT (9h from Mexico, 10h from Colombia/Ecuador, 11h from Chile and 12h from Brazil).

The session will be moderated by María Loreto Rodríguez, Professional of the Interoperability Unit of the Ministry of Health of Chile (MINSAL), and will include the participation of experts such as Jorge Pacheco, Head of the Department of Health Statistics and Information of MINSAL, and Alejandro Benavides, Co-founder of the Central American Health Informatics Network (RECAINSA), from Costa Rica.

In addition to generating knowledge, the RUTE-AL webinar series 2024 seeks to encourage the construction of a permanent collaborative network on health and telemedicine issues in Latin America and the Caribbean. The sessions started in April and will run until November, with the support of RedCLARA and its member National Research and Education Networks (NRENs).
