April 27, 4PM GMT: "Digital transformation of HEIs in times of crisis - The case of the Open Online University of Nicaragua" Webinar
This webinar will be held on April 27, at 4:00 PM GMT (10 am in Nicaragua), with the aim of presenting the experience of the National Autonomous Universities of Nicaragua in León and Managua in facing the educational challenges posed by the pandemic.
It was in the context of the pandemic that initiatives such as the Open Online University of Nicaragua (UALN) emerged. The online university belongs to the National Council of Universities (CNU) of the country and aims to expand the inclusive educational offer through the implementation of an open model in the different modalities of online distance education.
The event will be held virtually and will have the participation of experts Roberto Blandino Obando, Executive Director of the UALN-CNU, Melvin Lezama Benavidez, Coordinator of Educational Technology of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua - León, and Karla Ivania López Laguna, from the Coordination of Academic Management and the Virtual Distance Education Directorate of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua - Managua.
