October 26 to December 4: "Digital Health: The New Reality" Course

The need to bring specialist care to the most distant areas of our metropolis and not have discrimination in health care, especially for rural populations, has grown year after year with the use of health technologies that we initially called Telemedicine. To delve into the subject and apply technological development for the benefit of Digital Health, the Continuing Education School of CEDIA - the academic network of Ecuador - launched the course "Digital Health: The New Reality", which will be directed by Dr. Pedro Ramos Contreras, Pediatric Nephrologist and Head of Telemedicine in Monterrey, Nueva León (Mexico).

With a 40-hour workload, the training will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays (9pm-11pm GMT), from October 26 to December 4, by Zoom. The course is aimed at health personnel in general and at students and engineers in the areas of systems, telecommunications, application developers, biomedical engineers, medical equipment companies, robotics, satellite processes and communications engineers. It will be based on lectures given by specialists on the subject with international recognition and from various countries.

The registration price is USD$ 160 + VAT (members) / USD$ 200 + VAT (non-members).
