The Chilean Institute of Law and Technologies (ICDT) and the national research and education network of Chile, REUNA, invite you to participate in the "Discussion on Data Protection" Webinar that will take place on Thursday, January 28, at 2.30 pm GMT (11.30 am Santiago, Buenos Aires and Brasília) within the framework of the International Data Protection Day.

In this activity, the following will participate as exhibitors:

  • Felipe Harboe, senator for the Ñuble Region and pre-candidate for the Constituent Convention. "Personal data in the new Constitution".
  • Patricia Reyes, lawyer, doctor in law, vice-rector (s) of Liaison with the Environment, U. de Valparaíso. "Data protection and scientific research".
  • Juan Velásquez, civil engineer in computing, doctor in Information Engineering and professor at the University of Chile. "Data protection and artificial neural networks as 5th generation rights".

Moderator: Lorena Donoso, lawyer and expert in Computer Law, academic from the University of Chile and counselor of the ICDT.
