December 15, 1:30 pm GMT: Virtual Meeting of the GEO Health Community of Practice
The GEO Health Community of Practice (CoP) and the American Geophysical Union (AGU) have partnered to hold the GEO Health CoP virtual meeting on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at 1:30 p.m. GMT (8:30 -10: 30 US ET GMT-5) as part of the AGU Fall 2020 Gathering.
As a global network of governments, organizations and observers, this international platform aims to promote interdisciplinary collaborations that use environmental observations to improve health decision-making at the international, regional, national and district levels. This meeting will provide an opportunity for members of the Earth science and public health communities to describe international projects and updates, enhance professional networks through working group activities, and discuss priority focus areas that advance the efforts of GEO and AGU.
