CUDI and RedCLARA are organizing the talk: From the sky to the earth: Copernicus, the European Union (EU) Earth Observation Program for the World, on Wednesday, February 21 at 12:00 (UCT-6). The objective is to present the characteristics of the program, its benefits for solving or mitigating the effects of various problems at the level of climate change, fires, disasters, etc. at the national and regional levels.

The LACNet initiative to promote the development of a blockchain ecosystem, led by LACNIC and RedCLARA with the collaboration of BID Lab through LACChain, invites you to a webinar on use cases of this technology in non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

In the context of the need to accelerate secure digital transformation in Latin America and the Caribbean, the webinar "Integrating Cybersecurity into the LAC Development Agenda" will be held on Tuesday, February 20, at 15:00 GMT (9h from CDMX, 12h from Buenos Aires), bringing together experts, practitioners and policy makers with the objective of discussing and raising awareness about the importance of cybersecurity as an integral part of the region's digital growth.

LACNIC 41, one of the region's most important Internet events, will be held in Panama City, Panama, from May 6 to 10. The agenda will include technical tutorials, presentations by experts, the Public Policy Forum, among others.

In this new version of the Edutic congress, to be held between April 16 and 18, 2024, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is of great relevance, since it is one of the technologies that shows one of the most relevant transforming potentials of recent years. Even in the face of the accelerated changes generated by the incorporation of technologies in the various processes of higher education, AI seems to have the capacity to generate a relevant disruption in a significant number of practices related to teaching, program offerings, research, linkage with and student experience, to name just a few.
