RedCLARA llevará a cabo un taller virtual sobre el segundo Request for Information (RFI) del proyecto BELLA II el jueves 24 de octubre, de 13:30 h GMT, a través de Zoom. 

RedCLARA, in collaboration with the European Union-Central America Partnership Facility (EUreCA), invites all National Research and Education Networks (NRNs), universities, and research, science, technology, and innovation (R&D) centers in Central America to participate in the virtual workshop "Opportunities of the Horizon Europe Program for Central America," aimed at contributing to the development of research and innovation in the region.

In order to train participants in the effective use of the Copernicus Browser—a tool that enables access, exploration, and download of high-resolution images generated by the UE earth observation Programme, Copernicus—Copernicus Academy Costa Rica will hold this hands-on workshop on Monday, October 28, at 9:00 a.m. (San José time). The virtual workshop is open only to participants in Costa Rica.

As part of the BELLA II project, RedCLARA and the Cyber Competence Center for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC4) announce an exclusive seminar titled “AI and Cybersecurity: Threats and Opportunities,” aimed at the National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) that are members of RedCLARA.

The complex paradox of the coexistence of obesity and hunger in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) will be the subject of the next webinar of the Latin American University Telemedicine Network (RUTE-AL) on Wednesday, October 16, at 19:00 GMT.

RedCLARA, in collaboration with the European Union (EU), the Ecuadorian Advanced Network, CEDIA, the Copernicus Programme, the EU Space Support Office, and Universidad de San Francisco from Quito, will host the second edition of the Copernicus Academy Ecuador Deployment event on 26 and 27 September at the university’s facilities.
