The Latin American research and education network, RedCLARA, summons its member-networks RENATA (Colombia), CUDI (Mexico) and CEDIA (Ecuador) to talk about their experiences around the use of cloud solutions in response to the challenges created during the COVID19 pandemic.
The LA-CoNGA physics project will present on Wednesday, April 28, a conversation space called "Open science, infrastructure and collaboration networks: the challenge of the new higher education", as part of the thematic sessions of the Latin American and the Caribbean Science Open Forum (CILAC2021).
The national research and education network (NREN) of Mexico, RedCUDI, invites you to be part of these monthly spaces, on the third Tuesday, from 10pm to 11pm GMT. RedCLARA and its member networks RAU, CUDI and RNP (the national research and education networks of Uruguay, Mexico and Brazil, respectively) are competing in the category “Collaboration in e-Culture” of the 2021 e-Culture Award, organized by Anilla Cultural Latin America-Europe in Uruguay, in order to assess collaborative and co-creative work in advanced internet networks in the cultural field in art, science, technology and society.
Recognizing the ongoing policy challenge to balance openness and Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) protection, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) will carry out, next Friday, April 23, from 10h to 12h GMT, an expert meeting to discuss the relationships between IPRs and Open Science, present the different existing instruments and mechanisms that reconcile ownership and sharing/openness, and to exchange on balanced IPRs and Open Science policies and strategies.
