13 October: Don’t miss the workshop “Strengthening institutional cyber resilience”

Led by cybersecurity experts from the Ecuadorian academic network, CEDIA, this free workshop marks the start of the 14th edition of the traditional TICEC event, which this year is being held under the theme “Active Knowledge”.

“Strengthening Institutional Cyber Resilience: How to Establish the SGSI/EGSI Baseline” is the title of the workshop, which will take place on Tuesday 13 October 2026 at 10.00 Ecuadorian time. It will present a practical methodology for strengthening institutional cyber resilience by establishing an information security baseline.

During the event, CEDIA specialists Cristina Reyes, Jorge Merchán and Yolanda Estrada will lead collaborative exercises and present diagnostic tools, which attendees will use to develop an action plan aligned with the risks, capabilities and needs of their institutions, promoting measurable, sustainable security management geared towards continuous improvement.

15 and 16 October: Be part of Ecuador’s flagship conference

This year, CEDIA is celebrating the 14th edition of TICEC under the slogan “Active Knowledge”, because, as the organisers maintain, “great ideas gain strength when they are shared, connected and make an impact”. Over the two days of the event, attendees will be able to discover the technologies that are transforming the world, connect with those driving innovation and turn knowledge into new opportunities.
