LAC4 opens call for speakers for CyberWeek@LAC4 2026
The Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Capabilities Centre (LAC4) has announced the opening of the call for speakers and sessions for CyberWeek@LAC4 2026, one of the leading regional events dedicated to cybersecurity, which will take place from 17 to 20 November 2026 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The call will close on 31 May.
The invitation is open to specialists, researchers, technical professionals and teams interested in participating as speakers or workshop facilitators, with the aim of strengthening knowledge exchange, regional collaboration and capacity building in the face of the challenges of the digital environment.
Priority topics for the call for proposals include incident response and management, threat intelligence, cybersecurity technologies, and models of collaboration and partnerships, particularly between CSIRTs and other relevant actors in the regional ecosystem. LAC4 highlights its interest in proposals with a practical focus, real-world case studies and experiences that promote cross-border cooperation.
Technical workshops, demonstrations, interactive talks and innovative formats will be particularly valued, as well as presentations of tools, services or initiatives relevant to the region.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 31 May 2026. Selection results will be announced on 17 July, and final materials must be submitted by 17 August. LAC4 will cover travel and accommodation expenses for selected speakers, in accordance with its institutional policy.
Now in its fifth edition, CyberWeek@LAC4 has established itself as a key forum for international cooperation on cybersecurity in Latin America and the Caribbean.
