The call for posters for TICAL2025 is currently open, and innovators are encouraged to participate!
As the event in San José, Costa Rica approaches, the favorable news keeps coming: TICAL2025 has opened its call for posters, a unique opportunity for researchers, professionals, and academics from across Latin America and the Caribbean to present their most innovative projects during the conference, which will be held from November 11 to 13, 2025. Under the theme “Innovation That Transforms,” TICAL2025 positions itself as the ideal space to share advancements, build collaborative networks, and provide international visibility to initiatives shaping the region’s digital future.
The call seeks to highlight projects, research, and experiences in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) that provide creative and effective solutions to challenges in the academic and scientific fields of the region. Selected works will be exhibited at TICAL, where authors can engage directly with other participants, enhancing the exchange of ideas and the creation of partnerships.
In addition to visibility, authors of accepted works will have the opportunity to record a one-minute video that will be shared on the TICAL2025 website along with the digital version of their work. As an additional benefit, they will receive a special registration rate of USD 100.
The submission period is open from September 29 to October 20, 2025. Evaluation results will be announced on October 27. Selected proposals must submit their final version in PDF format by November 3 to be published online and presented during the conference in San José.
Each proposal must include a summary of up to 250 words, along with the title, list of authors, and their respective institutions. The summary should clearly describe the problem addressed, the proposed solution, and the results obtained or expected. Posters can be submitted in Spanish or Portuguese and should be prepared in vertical format (85 cm x 200 cm), including a display base and a high-resolution digital version.
Proposals should be sent via email to tical@redclara.net with the subject line: PROPOSAL | TICAL2025 Poster Call.
