REUNA Presents Its 2024 Annual Report
Chile’s National University Network (REUNA) has published its 2024 Annual Report, a document that highlights the institution’s main achievements, technical advancements, and collaborative initiatives throughout the year.
Among the key highlights is the commemoration of REUNA’s 30th anniversary, marked by a review of its journey and flagship projects in areas such as astronomy, telemedicine, and digital connectivity.
The report also showcases REUNA’s joint efforts with RedCLARA and the BELLA II project, focused on promoting digital transformation and strengthening connections among stakeholders in the science, technology, and innovation ecosystem across Latin America and the Caribbean. Additionally, it highlights the 13th edition of the TICAL Conference, held in Rio de Janeiro, which has established itself as a key regional forum for the exchange of experiences in information and communication technologies.
Another important aspect is REUNA’s international projection, reflected in its participation in global networks, events, and cooperation spaces on topics such as open science, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, as well as the strategic partnerships established in 2024.
The report also includes essential institutional information, such as the organizational structure, technical representatives, member networks, and new institutions that joined the corporation, expanding its reach and articulation capacity at the national level.
