Blockchain technology enthusiasts and those interested in the future of the industry in Latin America and the Caribbean now have a dedicated platform. It is the CAFÉ LACChain video podcast, launched by the LACChain Global Alliance to inspire and empower organizations, businesses, and entrepreneurs to fully harness the potential of this technology.

Each episode of CAFÉ LACChain offers in-depth discussions and analysis, providing a unique perspective on the industry's progress and challenges. The podcast also highlights success stories, demonstrating how LACNet’s blockchain infrastructure can drive growth and innovation across various sectors. LACNet, the first public permissioned blockchain network, is the result of a collaboration between RedCLARA and LACNIC, in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank’s Innovation Lab (IDB Lab).

CAFÉ LACChain also aims to dispel myths and deepen understanding of aspects related to blockchain, such as technology, applications, regulations, and the challenges faced by different stakeholders. So far, four episodes have aired, covering topics such as the challenges and expectations of blockchain use in the banking sector, its application by governments, blockchain's role in environmental preservation, and education in the Web3 era. The latest episode featured Carlos González, RedCLARA’s Service Manager, who discussed the Diploma Project, a regional initiative that uses blockchain technology to facilitate regional dialogue and interoperability of credentials.
