“A Geospatial and Digital Future through Co-creation”: Join RedCLARA’s Panel at AmeriGEO Week 2022

On August 15, 2022, at 7:15 pm GMT RedCLARA will hold a panel during the AmeriGEO Week 2022 allowing relevant stakeholders and interested parties to share the challenges, opportunities and lessons they learned regarding the future of the potential synergies in a geospatial and digital world.

The session “A Geospatial and Digital Future through Co-creation” will t be led by Laura Castellana and Mark Urban, Academic Projects Coordinator and Director of Academic Relations, Communications and International Cooperation, and CFO (interim) of RedCLARA, respectively, with the participation of representatives of the Space Agency (Paraguay), UNOOSA, Alaska University – AmeriGEO, Peru-USA-USGS and AmeriGEO ESRI – Amazon.

The AmeriGEO Week will be held in Paraguay between August 15 and 19, addressing the topic “Human Migration in Perspective: Earth Observations for Resilience and Equitable Development” with the objective of building capacities for the creation of geospatial communities for the benefit of society.

In the AmeriGEO Community, important and constant efforts are being made for the development of these capacities, promoting the principle of co-creation and providing conceptual support for the design, implementation and evaluation of activities that will allow the evolution of capacities at various levels of intervention.
