Apply for a scholarship for the Virtual School of Internet Governance

The Virtual School of Internet Governance (VSIG) is pleased to announce that the second edition of the course in Spanish is scheduled to start on February 20, 2022 and that the registration process to request a scholarship is open.

VSIG is a fully virtual school focused on Internet governance, supporting different forms of face-to-face schools such as NASIG, InSig, AfrSIG, SSIG among others. In the 2021-22 term, it is planned to have three schools in English with a capacity of 100 participants each and two in Spanish with a capacity of 50 participants. The course is designed as a Massive Open Course (MOOC) using Moodle and provides free online education with exposure to a diverse group of professionals with different backgrounds, and great opportunities for participants to interact with others local and regional individuals, and different industry innovators.

The course includes ten modules with extensive content on the following topics:

  • Developing
  • Security
  • Legal aspects
  • Economy
  • Human rights
  • Socio-Cultural
  • Emerging technologies
