The National University Network of Chile, REUNA, and the Chilean Investigative Police (PDI) invite participants to join the open webinar “On the Road to the International Cybersecurity Seminar 2026”, which will take place on Friday, 27 March, at 10:30 (GMT-3).

(Source: REUNA) The meeting aims to strengthen collaboration around current cybersecurity challenges and to invite the scientific and academic community across Latin America and the Caribbean to take part in the 9th International Cybersecurity Seminar: “Protection of Critical Infrastructure and Cyber-resilience”, to be held on 7–8 October 2026 in Santiago, Chile.

During the event, Dmitry Bestuzhev, an international cybersecurity expert with more than 20 years of experience in the industry and academia, will deliver a presentation. Throughout his career, he has served as Senior Director, CTI at BlackBerry, and as Director of the Global Research and Analysis Team for Latin America at Kaspersky (GReAT), leading cybersecurity research teams. He currently conducts independent research in the field and supports non-profit educational initiatives. The presentation will be delivered in Spanish.
