Under the theme “Technologies That Connect and Transform Us,” the 14th edition of the RNP Forum, organized by the Rede Nacional de Ensino e Pesquisa (RNP), a member of RedCLARA, has officially begun. The event brings together leaders, experts, and representatives from various sectors to discuss how technological innovations are redefining the future of education, research, health, culture, and defense.

The Forum, running from September 15 to 18, aims to promote collaboration among institutions and professionals to maximize the positive impact of emerging technologies on Brazil’s socioeconomic landscape. Over four days, discussions will cover key topics such as digital security and privacy, the ethics and applications of artificial intelligence, the expansion of advanced networks including 5G and the Internet of Things, and governance with inclusive and sustainable leadership models.

On the first day, the Forum featured exclusive activities for invited and registered participants, including the Redecomep meeting and RNP+ Trends, an evolution of the SIG Cloud concept, with debates on major technological trends that continue to transform the academic environment. Specialized workshops on relevant topics were also offered, with limited spots for participants.

Starting September 16, the full program will be open in the conference spaces and business fair, showcasing innovative solutions in networking, digitalization, sustainability, and technological transformation.
