RUTE-ALC to Address Interoperability as a Pillar of Digital Health in Latin America and the Caribbean

On Wednesday, August 20, a new RUTE-ALC meeting will take place, focusing on digital public infrastructure and interoperability—two key pillars for advancing digital health in the region.

During the panel, experts will discuss how building a robust digital infrastructure and enabling health systems to communicate and exchange information efficiently can transform healthcare, improving care coordination and clinical decision-making.

The session will be moderated by Eng. Daniel Otzoy, Executive Director of RECAINSA, and will feature specialists such as Joel Tavárez from the Ministry of Public Health of the Dominican Republic and Mario E. Cortés, President of HL7 Colombia, who will share experiences and best practices in interoperability projects.
