April 8-10: GÉANT Security Days 2025

Aiming to foster knowledge exchange, share threat intelligence, and promote best practices, Security Days 2025 will bring together cybersecurity experts from around the world.

Under the theme "Securing What Matters," the event highlights the importance of identifying and prioritizing the protection of critical assets. As National Research and Education Networks (NRENs) continue to strengthen academic and scientific infrastructure, the focus on security is more crucial than ever. The conference will promote a comprehensive security approach to ensure resilient digital environments.

Key topics will include ethics in security, ensuring that services and strategies align with ethical standards and broader societal goals such as sustainable security initiatives. The relationship between usability and security will also be explored, emphasizing how to enhance user experience without compromising protection. Discussions will feature effective tools and methodologies for hands-on security, as well as leadership in cybersecurity, focusing on strategic management, organizational culture, and risk-based decision-making. Additionally, the event will address digital infrastructure protection, emphasizing continuous monitoring, updates, and incident response planning.

Security Days 2025 is designed for Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), security strategists, CSIRT team coordinators, security service developers, security management professionals, incident response experts, and visionary cybersecurity leaders.
