November 23 and December 1: "Ransomware: the challenge for higher education institutions" Webinar
To face the growing threat of ransomware and the attacks that have paralyzed many organizations in the world, including universities and other educational institutions, the Latin American NRENs Regional Cybersecurity Group will carry out this webinar in two sessions (November 23rd and December 1st).
With the participation of those responsible for the CSIRTs of advanced Latin American networks, the event will address the evolution of ransomware, techniques, trends and some advice on how to protect and secure institutions against this type of attack.
IT directors or coordinators, heads or managers of the Cybersecurity areas, members of cybersecurity teams, researchers, professors and the academic community of higher education institutions that are members of the national research and education networks that participate in RedCLARA and that have an interest in information security are invited to participate.
