June 11: "Climate Change: Climate and Health" Webinar (in Spanish)

Organized by the community of Scientific Collaboration on Climate Change, in this free of charge webinar, we will have the participation of experts Anna M. Stewart Ibarra, Scientific Director of the Inter-American Institute for Climate Change Research (IAI), and Helena Chapman , Associate Program Manager in the Department of Health and Air Quality of the NASA Applied Sciences Program.

Dr. Stewart's presentation is titled “Dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases in a hotter and more populated world,” and will address the role of climate and the socio-ecological environment in the transmission of mosquito diseases, such as dengue. .Meanwhile, Dr. Chapman will present the "Applications of satellite data and advances in environmental health: Focus on One Health", where she will define the concept of One Health and the importance of forming transdisciplinary collaborations to advance environmental health applications.
