Discover new stars, galaxies and objects from the solar system. This is the purpose of the project. J-PAS, Javalambre Physics of the Accelerating Universe Astrophysical Survey, The unpublished photometric celestial survey of the sky, conducted by a partnership between the National Observatory (ON) and the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences of the University of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil, and the Center for Studies of Physics of the Cosmos of Aragon (CEFCA) and the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia, Spain.

United against Coronavirus: Through RedCLARA, Cisco will offer free 90-day Cisco WebEx Meetings licenses to universities, research and health centers in Latin America
The alliance with Cisco is part of the initiative established by the Latin American academic networks, united in RedCLARA, to contribute to the search for the cure of COVID-19 and to enhance remote work and study. Cisco WebEx Meetings licenses will be offered for a period of 90 days to the aforementioned institutions and include the WebEx Meetings, WebEx Teams and Control Hub programs. Up to one thousand licenses will be distributed so that users can manage (create, invite and record) sessions for each institution.

New Statutes of RedCLARA come into force
The new Statutes of RedCLARA were approved under Uruguayan law at the end of November 2019. The decision of change of the previous Statutes, that were in force since June 2011, was taken at the General Assembly of members held on November 9, 2018.
