The topics of the Conference, to be held on October from 12 to 14 2011, include but are not limited to networks and communication systems. The deadline for the full paper submission is on May 9, 2011.
The project Grid Initiatives for e-Science virtual communities in Europe and Latin America has just present the GISELA site of dissemination http://www.cecalc.ula.ve/gisela/ that will integrate different links and notes of interest related with the topic of Grid, as a way to optimize the periodic information generated from research communities in Latin America.
The event, to be held on Thursday March 17 from 09:30am to 18:00 pm (UTC / GMT -6), will be focus on networking and will include presentations on security, Bluetooth devices, routing small networks and the basics of structured cabling. For anyone interested will be able to participate by videoconference or live and live by transmission available on the Internet.
Six candidates have been selected to participate in the international tender for the Virtual School of Mercosur. The tender for the provision of network equipment Arandu, is ongoing.
The event, that will take place from 11 to 14 October 2011 at the University of the Republic of Uruguay, will aim to contribute to the creation of spaces that encourage a better communication between the educational and technological fields.
