The seminar, internationally certified, will be taught in September at the Universidad Don Bosco (UDB), member of the Network University Advanced Research and Education El Salvador (RAICES) and is open to professionals throughout the region.

Universidad Católica became partner of the Chilean academic network REUNA
ExpiredAn intimate ceremony, held on August 4th at the main campus of the Universidad Católica (UC), marked the entry of this institution to the National University Network (REUNA). The meeting was chaired by Ignacio Sánchez, UC Chancellor, Jose Palacios, REUNA Board President and Paola Arellano, REUNA Executive Director, who signed the documents that initiated the agreement.
Since 2005 the International Day of Internet Security (DISI) is hosts by the Brazilian National Research and Education Network, RNP, through the Center for Security Incidents Response (CAIS).
The activity aims to share experiences in the development of initiatives to enhance pedagogy students to use ICT with educative purpose. The announcement is open for students and academics of Chilean and foreign universities to participat in the event through contributions in presentations or video format.
Very inspiring was the first face-to-face meeting of the ACHALAI project (Collaborative Action for the ancient pre-Hispanic musical Recovery by the harmonization of research and technology), that took place on July 7th to 9th at the offices of REUNA, in Chile. About twenty people, including musicians, physicists, engineers and social communicators from Ibero-America gathered in Santiago to define the guidelines of the research for the next two years.
Latin American projects which are using advanced network infrastructure will share their experiences in an international seminar to be held in Guatemala City on August 30th, 2011.
