The Project Federated Network of Institutional Repository of Scientific Publications, LAReferencia, welcomes the arrival of El Salvador as a new member of this initiative, after being approved the request by the Directive Committee. As a result LAReferencia increases to nine the number of countries member, being El Salvador the first in Central America. (Text in Spanish)
Experiences in telemedicine/e-health have had a high impact in Latin America, through research projects from different disciplinary areas. From this statement, the Latin American Cooperation of Advanced Networks (RedCLARA), in coordination with the academic networks of Brazil (RNP), Panama (RedCyT) and Venezuela (Reacciun), developed the e-Health Virtual Day.
The conference Arab e-infrastructure in a Global Environment, e-AGE 2012, “Collaborate towards developing the regional e-Infrastructures“ will take place on December 12-13, 2012, in the Zayed University in of the United Arab Emirates.
