You can unsubscribe from newsletters anytime answering to them or sending “Unsubscribe now” to redclara_comunica@redclara.net

We also collect and store, when it’s provided by you, information about your Home institution, profession, Role, Country or Education grade. Your e-mail won’t be visible to other members of the systems. However, your name or other information could be. Your e-mail can be visible to your National Research and Education Network if it’s a RedCLARA’s member.

Managing your personal data

Security

We strive to follow best practices for securing your data. Among others we use encryption for data in transit using SSL.
Any information we got from you or you upload, including name, e-mail, avatar or other data uploaded will not be disclosed by us to any external parties, except your e-mail, which could be send to your National Research and Education Network.

Deletion

Deleting your account is a permanent action that will delete all personal data related to your account. RedCLARA can keep your name when you delete your account. This is required to keep your comments and contributions to the communities you belong to and that remain after you leave the system. If you want to remove it, it will be required that you or the communities’ manager delete your communities.

Storage

We will keep your personal data up to 30 days after you delete your account. We may keep some of your information if necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to enforce our agreements or to support business operations or other communities where you were a member, as described before.

Portability

To have all your data that we store sent to you, send us a request by email to vsog@redclara.net. We will respond within two weeks.

Third parties

RedCLARA do not sell or trade your personal data to outside parties. We do share some data with our National Research and Education Networks partners for statistical analysis or fulfill legitimate business goals of this kind of Organizations.

We may release your information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law.
