The work of EllaLink, owner and operator of the submarine cable that the Latin American and European academic networks will use through their connections to RedCLARA and GEÁNT, respectively, to connect Latin America and Europe through the BELLA Project, will be the subject of the Webinar which will take place on Friday, February 19, at 1:00 p.m. GMT.

With the aim of presenting two of the main advanced computing centers in South America and discussing the possibilities of supporting scientific activity that requires high-performance computing capabilities, the Webinar "Computing Capacities in the Region: Opportunities and New Ways"  will take place on Monday, February 15th, at 4:00 p.m. GMT, organized by RedCLARA and the Advanced Computing System of Latin America and the Caribbean (SCALAC).

Rio de Janeiro, January 2021 - Linked to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations of Brasil (MCTI), the National Teaching and Research Network (RNP) announces the 15th edition of the International Computer Security Day (DISI), which will take place on the February 11 (7pm GMT) in online format, with the theme “Digital security starts early”. This year, DISI joins Safe Internet Day (saferinternetday.org), a global movement led in Brazil by Safernet and the Ponto BR Information and Coordination Center - NIC.br, bringing greater mobilization around important issues for the safer and more conscious use of the internet.
