The webinar "Copernicus Programme: Earth Observation Initiatives for Latin America and the Caribbean" will take place on Tuesday, January 10, at 15h GMT with the aim of socializing the experience and impact of the Copernicus Program in Latin America and the Caribbean, and discuss how to use the data from it to improve the quality of life in the region.

The need to accelerate the digital transformation processes in Latin America and the Caribbean to generate greater economic and social development is the reason and the meaning of the “Dialogue on the Challenges and Opportunities of Digital Transformation in Latin America and the Caribbean”, an invite-only event* that will take place between the 14th and 18th of November, in Montevideo, Uruguay.

The SubOptic Latam 2022 Symposium will be held on November 10 and 11 with the support of RedCLARA and the chilean advanced network REUNA. The event will bring together academia and industry for interactive debates and inspiring presentations on the world of telecommunications and underwater digital connectivity.

REUNA Chile will hold on Wednesday, October 19 at 20:00 GMT (17:00 in Santiago) the Webinar "Low Cost SOC", on the occasion of the "Cybersecurity Month" and the cycle of Webinars promoted by the Regional Cybersecurity Group of Research and Education Networks in Latin America.

The speaker of the event is Carlos Montoya, President and Founder of the Whitolab Educational Foundation. He will address themes such as what is a Security Operations Center (SOC), as well as its main functions and the importance in cyber defense of an organization, with focus on how to implement a SOC with Open Source tools, which allow structuring the technological basis of this service.
