Participate in the webinar "New data protection law: Challenges for the education and research ecosystem", organized by the advanced network of Chile, REUNA, and ICDT in the framework of the International Day for the Protection of Personal Data, which is commemorated every January 28.

REUNA and ICDT invite Universities and Institutions of the science, technology, innovation and education environment to dialogue and learn about the challenges that will mean the adaptation of the Chilean law (in draft) to international standards on data protection, especially the European Regulation on Personal Data Protection, Madrid standards, and OECD standards.

The speakers will be:

  • Lorena Donoso Abarca. Associate Professor, University of Chile, Counselor of the Chilean Institute of Law and Technologies.
  • Fernando Fernández. Master in Laws, University of Chicago (United States); LL.M. in Innovation, Technology and the Law, University of Edinburgh (United Kingdom).
  • Carlos Reusser Monsálvez. Academic Alberto Hurtado University, Master in Computer Science and Law (U. Complutense), PhD Candidate in Law (University of Salamanca).
