e-AGE 2012 call for papers
ExpiredThe conference Arab e-infrastructure in a Global Environment, e-AGE 2012, “Collaborate towards developing the regional e-Infrastructures“ will take place on December 12-13, 2012, in the Zayed University in of the United Arab Emirates.
e-AGE2012 is planned to present the status and future opportunities to develop Pan-Arab R&E network integration models and beyond to Europe, the US, and the globe at large. e-AGE2012 will include several regional events and activities that focus on research, education and e-Infrastructures:
• The fifth Event on Euro-Mediterranean e-Infrastructure
• The second annual meeting of ASREN
• CHAIN-REDS kickoff meeting
Topics of interest
- National and Regional Research Networking experiences, experience, policies and funding
- Research collaboration and joint research projects
- e-Libraries and scientific content access services
- e-Infrastructures in the fields of storage and hosting of content delivery and Network communication tools
- Local and regional connectivity services options: circuits, optical fiber etc…
- Network computing resources, including GRID computing and coordination within NREN community for CPU use
- Sustainability of R&E Infrastructures
- Scientific Computing including Grid Computing, Cloud Computing and HPC systems
