HASTAC announces the key speakers for its 2014 Conference

HASTAC 2014 (the 6th international conference for the Humanities, Arts, Science, and Technology Alliance and Collaboratory) will be hosted by the Ministry of Culture of Peru, making this event the first HASTAC conference to be hosted outside of North America. The Conference will run from April 24 to 27, and its main topic will be “Hemispheric Trails: Critical Thinkers in International Networks”, and its purpose: to reflect the importance of intersectoral initiatives and collaboration in the Americas for economic and social development.

 

The Humanities, Arts, Science, and Technology Alliance and Collaboratory, HASTAC, is proud to officially announcethe name of the key speakers for its 2014 Conference:

  • V. Sherry Tross, Executive Secretary for Integral Development, Organization of American States;
  • Honorable Alejandro Cruz, Minister of Science, Technology and Telecommunications, Costa Rica;
  • Mitchell Baker, Chairperson Mozilla Foundation;
  • Constance Yowell, Education Director, MacArthur Foundation.

HASTAC 2014 is organizad by the  Ministry of Culture of Peru in collaboration with OAS, the University of Illinois, RedCLARA and HASTAC.
