September 18th: RENATA IPv6 Day 2014

The National Academic Network of Advanced Technology, RENATA, from Colombia, invites the academic community, government representatives, business and the ICT sector, to the RENATA IPv6 Day 2014, an event that will be held on September 18th, 2014 at 14:00 pm in the the Central Building of the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano of Bogotá. Those interested in participate in person should write to: asistenciacomunicaciones@renata.edu.co.

IPv6 RENATAThe purpose if this day is to sensitize the academic community, government agencies and companies in the country about the importance of IPv6 protocol, the advantages and the opportunities of its adoption. 
 
In addition it aims to demonstrate with real cases the results of the implementation at national and international level, and to disseminate the work made by RENATA and the results obtained. 
 
Besides, it will also be possible to participate by videoconference or live and direct through the Internet transmission that will be available on the RENATA website.
