RIPE Academic Cooperation Initiative at MENOG 15

The Middle East Network Operators Group (MENOG) is looking for academics and researchers in the region to showcase their work in the field of Internet technology at the upcoming MENOG 15 meeting, taking place from 1-2 April 2015 in Dubai.

MENOG 15 offers a great opportunity to network with colleagues sharing experiences and knowledge, presenting and discussing latest networking innovations and discover new business models and applications. It is a highly selective meeting attended by experts and interested people from industry, academia and government.

The RIPE (Réseaux IP Européens) Academic Cooperation Initiative (RACI) will cover the cost of meeting registration, travel and accommodation for up to three candidates for MENOG 15. One candidate will also be selected to present their research at the RIPE 70 Meeting (11-15 May 2015) in Amsterdam.

Relevant research topics include (but are not limited to):

- Network measurement and analysis
- IPv6 deployment
- BGP routing
- Network security
- Internet governance
- Peering and interconnectivity

The closing date for applications is Friday, 27 February 2015.
