The OAS Department of Human Development and Education and the OAS Department of Economic Development in collaboration with the University of California at Davis, are offering scholarships for the course: "Promoting Innovation: Licensing Academy in Intellectual Property and Technology Commercialization”.

(Source: OAS) The course will be delivered onsite, in English, at the International Law Programs University of California at Davis, and will take place from June 22nd to July 3rd, 2015. Scholarships recipients will be selected from among applications submitted to the OAS Department of Human Development and Educationthrough the National Liaison Office (ONE) in each Member State.

The deadline for receiving the applications in Washington, D.C. May 22nd, 2015. Please be advised that the announcement of the course is available in the web site: www.oas.org. The online application form must be completed online and can be accessed at: http://www.oas.org/en/scholarships/professionaldev.asp.

National Liaison Offices in the Member States are requested to submit no more than four (4) applications for this course. If the number of applications received exceeds the number specified, the OAS Department of Human Development and Education will request the corresponding Permanent Mission to the OAS in Washington, DC to conduct a pre-selection of the candidates submitted by the ONE in order to reduce the number to the requested.
