 The European Commission has officially opened an international tender for the slope of the Digital Training Network, which is part of the Digital MERCOSUR, which aims to extend the benefits of the resources of the Information Society in Latin America and contribute to reduce asymmetries between countries and within each country.

Since the project's initial focus is Digital MERCOSUR e-commerce, Training Network will be aimed at building capacities to operate the infrastructure necessary for the exercise of this, and to give technical and operational support for a greater number of people , Cooperatives or companies have access to the media.

Institutions interested in participating in the tender shall prepare a proposal to organize, develop and implement Training Network Digital MERCOSUR. This network will consist of an institution or group of institutions that generate capabilities in strategic issues for the development of information society in the countries of MERCOSUR.

The training will initially have three main areas: training for the operation of public key infrastructure and other measures for electronic commerce, for a set of about 200 people per country, training to implement and operate e-commerce activities, for much larger whole, to be evaluated dynamically and training to small businesses and entrepreneurs to incorporate e-commerce activities.
