The activity, organized by the Chilean Computer Science Society (SCCC), includes in the program several conferences, workshops, meetings, tutorials and will involve the participation of prominent researchers.

On November 7 to 11 2011, the University of Talca, in Curicó, Chile, will host a new edition of the Chilean Computing Week, (Jornadas Chilenas de Computacion, JCC 2011), an event considered as a meeting place for academia and industry in science computing and information technology to share experiences, develop joint projects and thus develop these disciplines.

The event, sponsored by the Chilean Society of Computer Science (SCCC), includes in its program the International Conference of Computer Science, Workshops (Databases, Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, Parallelism, among others), Chilean Congress of Computing in Higher Education, the Chilean Computing Meeting, and the South American championship in ACM Programming. In addition, the event will feature tutorials and invited talks from leading researchers.

Anyone interested in participating by paper submission have the opportunity to do so until July 15.
