eChallenges is an activity promoted by the European Commission, which annually gathers over 650 delegates to share knowledge and experience on research and technologies. The event will take place from 26 to 28 October in Florence, Italy.

Over 170 speakers from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America will present this year at eChallenges e-2011 Conference & Exhibition. This is one of the most significant events in the world of research and technology and each year attracts hundreds of delegates who lead companies, governmental and research organizations around the world to share experiences, lessons learned and good practices in ICT.

For three days, conducted interactive workshops, case studies are examined and have access to the development of interesting topics, from the hand of the foremost experts worldwide. Some of the topics to be discussed this year are Networked Enterprise, eGovernment, Living Labs & Smart Cities, eHealth, Intelligent Content, Technology Enhanced Learning, eInfrastructures and security management and identity.
