The activity aims to share experiences in the development of initiatives to enhance pedagogy students to use ICT with educative purpose. The announcement is open for students and academics of Chilean and foreign universities to participat in the event through contributions in presentations or video format.

The Universidad de Los Lagos and the Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educación, along with REUNA and with the support of RedCLARA, invite academics of Chilean and foreign universities (Spanish speaking), pedagogy students and teachers from the school system to be part of the 4th cycle, "Integration of the use of Information and Communication Technologies in initial teacher training in universities" or "TICenFID" by presenting their work in topics related with ICT.

According to the interest of the institutions, the agenda of videoconferences will be structured for the second half of 2011. Each meeting will last approximately two hours, and will take place the first Wednesday of each month at 13:30 GMT, starting on August 24, 2011.

This cycle aims to share experiences in the development of initiatives to enhance pedagogy students to use ICT with educative purpose. The purpose of this initiative is to establish a space where teachers and students have the possibility to discuss and share experiences with other universities that train students for teaching careers, and that like the Universidad de Los Lagos and the Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educación, are working to ensure the use of ICT in the work of the teachers who are being formed.

Those interested can be part of this cycle through three ways of contributions:
1. Presentations of work experiences in ICT integration in Initial Teacher Training (FID).
2. Presentations of work experiences in ICT integration in the school system.
3. Videos of work experiences developed in Network
