August 31rst | International Day of Internet Security

Since 2005 the International Day of Internet Security (DISI) is hosts by the Brazilian National Research and Education Network, RNP, through the Center for Security Incidents Response (CAIS).

DISI 2011This yearly event, held in Brazilian states capitals, gathers experts to share knowledge, educate and increase internet user awareness on security issues in the information technology environment.

User education activities particularly setup for this year DISI event include talks on security, distribution of user awareness handouts and spurring efforts to display this topic to the general public.

DISI ‘11

The DISI 2011 event will take place on August, 31rst at Quality Hotel, Curitiba (PR). At each event, the organizers choose a guiding motto for DISI activities. This is year's slogan is Security Awareness is Everyone's Responsibility.

Talks are free and open for public participation after registration. Moreover, they will be broadcast real-time from the website.
