Expired

The activity will be held on October, in Bogota, Colombia. The meeting is being organized by Red Latinoamericana de Cooperación Universitaria (RLCU), Politécnico Grancolombiano and Urdimbre Community (supported by RedCLARA).

The most important scientific, technological and educational regional challenges will be the main topic of the seventh edition of the International Researchers Meeting. The event, that will be held on October 13th and 14th and it aims to promote the latest results of Latin American research works, is a tradition since 2004.

This year, the debate around advanced networks will have an important part in the agenda of the meeting. The program will include a panel forum about the application of advanced networks at community research initiatives. Latin American countries are connected to advanced internet through National Research and Education Networks (NREN) which are members of RedCLARA.

“Research Communities using advanced networks” will be the topic at the panel forum with international experts such as Tom Fryer, member of international relations team of DANTE (European Union) and Dago Bedoya, Academic Manager of Colombian Red Nacional de Tecnología Avanzada (RENATA).

The meeting will be transmitted by RENATA through videoconference and internet. Furthermore, the agenda includes panels about quality concepts and practices at superior education and relationships between university-enterprises-government. International specialists will give presentations about science and research.
