CartelThe University of Panama in conjunction with the University of Technology organized the "International Review of Medical Informatics and Applied Technology to Health and Social Development and First National Course on Introduction to Medical Informatics and Telehealth", to be held from 17th to 21th October, 2011 in Panama.

The aim of the conference is to contribute to the dialogue of the health team MINSA and CSS from the exchange of experiences and good practices related to the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education, research and the provision of medical-health services with particular emphasis on innovation and new media tools and new regulatory developments and the support of local social integration processs in health field.

The program activities include the participation of international experts from China Taiwan, USA, Colombia, and Brazil and will be held in the Santo Tomas Hospital and the Paraninfo Universitario.
