Conferences, workshops and discussion sessions with national and international experts are part of the activities that will take place from October 31st to November 4th, 2011 as part of the launch of the Comunidad Anilla Cultural de Colombia (ACC) and the Community of Art and Culture in the ARCU-RED Network.

The event aims to show the potential of advanced technology networks through the use of a cultural and artistic performance co-produced by national and international institutions to promote the participation and knowledge sharing among cultural managers, artists, academics and researchers through the use of digital networks.

The organization of the release includes the participation of the University of the Atlantic (implementing agency), the Simón Bolívar University, the Antonio de Arévalo Technology Foundation TECNAR, the University Corporation of the Coast CUC, the Autonomous University of the Caribbean, institutions that currently integrate ACC, and will be supported by the Colombian national network, RENATA and the Ministry of National Education and the special participation of the i2CAT Foundation of Spain and the University of Strasbourg, from France.

November 1st | Workshop: The use of new technologies in artistic practices (University of the Atlantic)
November 2nd | Conference: Copyright in the academic and cultural industries (Simon Bolivar University)
November 3rd | Online art performances (Concert at the Sonic Arts grid) and the International Congress "From the mediated society to the communicated Society" (University of the Atlantic / Autonomous University of the Caribbean)
November 4th | Official launch of Colombian Cultural Ring (Anilla Cultural Colombia, ACC) and the Community of Art and Culture in Colombia, ARCU RED (University of the Atlantic), video-performance "Between digital Lines" and presentation of local dance samples (University Corporation of the Coast, CUC).

Anilla Cultural de Colombia (ACC) is a project that promotes the preservation, conservation, access and visibility of the theoretical, artistic, aesthetic and cultural contents of gender and co-production through the intensive use of the National Academic Network of Advanced Technology (RENATA). The project is also intended to be an enhancing element for the Art and Culture Community in the network (ARCU-RED) identified as a social structure in which participate and collaborate cultural managers, artists, academics and researchers from Colombia and the world, connected through the Internet and the advanced technology networks.
