LACNIC XVII: Facing the challenges of the new generation of Internet

Ecuador will host the regional event that will take in Quito from 6th to 11th May, 2012 and that aims to promote the development and stability of Internet with an integrationist purpose for the Internet Society.

lacnicThe event "La Nueva Generación de Internet: Oportunidades y Desafíos para América Latina y el Caribe" (LACNIC) will celebrate its 17th edition in Ecuador, with the support of Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones de Ecuador (SUPERTEL) and Corporación Ecuatoriana de Comercio Electrónico (CORPECE).

The week of intense activity will include workshops and technical training on subjects such as new techonologies, promotion on IPv6 adoption, and will involve the development of open forums for the general public, some of the most remarkable about Public Policies, Safety, Interconection and FLIP 6.0.
