October 30, 2pm GMT: “Biomedical Engineering - New Challenges for National Engineering” Forum

The Institute of Engineers of Chile invites all interested parties to participate in the “Biomedical Engineering: New Challenges for National Engineering” forum, which will take place this Friday, October 30, at 11am (Chile time / 2pm GMT), via Zoom.
(Source: REUNA) The speakers are:
  • Francisco Fukuda, doctor at the University of Chile and industrial engineer at the Catholic University of Chile, deputy director of Informatics at Redsalud, of the Construction Chamber of Chile.
  • Steffen Härtel, doctor of physics from the University of Bremen, deputy director of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Chile.
  • Hernán Sandoval, physician at the University of Chile, specialist in occupational medicine at the University of Paris, former member of WHO, initiator of the AUGE plan and former rector of the Faculty of Health at the University of Las Américas.
  • Alejandro Steiner, chairman of the Engineering and Life Sciences Commission of the Chilean Institute of Engineers.
This seminar will be held thanks to the collaboration of REUNA, via videoconference, and to participate it is necessary to register in advance by accessing this link, as it is an activity with limited spaces.
